Feature Summary: A Sever to Server (S2S) Integration is a method of integrating an app with Kochava without a SDK or any code change required in the app. S2S integration requires that installs and events are tracked on the client server side..

 

Why Use an S2S Integration:

  • No access to edit the source code of the app
  • Apple Search traffic is never required to be tracked
  • 3rd-party SDKs violate your company’s terms
  • Start tracking performance campaigns before the next app update

 

BEST PRACTICES: If strict authentication rules are being utilized, ensure that the procedures and policies within the Kochava Install Authentication Integration support documentation have been followed.

How to Implement

There are two parts of the integration process, the Install Notifications and Post-Install Events Setup.

A device can also be associated within Kochava to a device within your system using IdentityLink.

Non-Standard Integrations

Utilizing the Server-to-Server model, Kochava can accept traffic from any source as long as the required parameters are included. Unique integrations may include:

  • Roku
  • Playstation
